Career Transition: Change, Creativity and Resilience

The rules of the game have changed and will probably change several more times, even during this presentation. Technology, economics and the social media onslaught have caused industry layoffs, buyouts and a “helpless” feeling among many journalists and media professionals. For older journalists, the job search is of an even greater concern. Sitting on our laurels is obviously not enough. The past is gone and the so-called “journalism good times” will not return. This session will spring attendees back to reality and give them the tools to move forward in a competitive market.
