Love, Lust & Flirts is now available.
The work – second of the Finding Dust Trilogy – is my perspective on the joys and pitfalls of love and relationships. Those poems were written to inspire thoughts about love issues, generate necessary skepticism and find laugh out loud moments.
The first book of the series – KICKING BOTTLES, NEWS & DUST An Autobiography 50 Years of Poems – was published last year. It tells the story of my life – as a foster kid, a single parent, an alcoholic, a Marine and an award-winning journalist and executive editor. The first two books are available at amazon.com.
CHANGE Robots Driving Covered Wagons will be published December 2015. The final book of the series is self-explanatory, a look at societal changes affecting race, relationships, politics, education and, of course, technology.
For fellow poets and writers, I describe my works as “inspirational, tense, alive, enigmatic and observational.” It’s without form and not aligned with any literary structure. If I feel it, I write it. My goal is to write about the society I have observed and been a part of for more than six decades. Most importantly, my writing is healing and part of my mental health regime. It represents calm in the midst of chaos.
